The social mission of the Church centers on the life, dignity, and the rights of the human person.
While focusing on the social dimensions of our faith, we work to support parishes with ministry to families and individuals by offering programs that reflect gospel values. Underscoring all of our work is a consistent and persistent defense of human life and dignity. Our areas of programming include:

We are sensitive and attentive to the needs of the poor and marginalized in our communities, working closely with direct service agencies that assist and empower the poor. In order to better serve parishioners, we collaborate with local agencies that provide more comprehensive and professional services.
We support the parishes of the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw with the work of charity and justice. Through direct contact with Christian Service Commissions, quarterly mailings, annual workshops, and material resources, we assist parishes in their efforts to be "Communities of Salt and Light". This includes education and enrichment in the areas of Catholic Social Teaching, Social Justice, Global Solidarity, Fair Trade, and Mission.
