BIG Raffle Winners Announced, More than $50,000 to be distributed to Participating Catholic Parishes and Schools
SAGINAW — The Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan drew the winners of its BIG Raffle during the Bishop’s Ball on Friday, April 25 at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw. Approximately 23,000 BIG Raffle tickets were sold in communities across the diocese and more than $50,000 in proceeds will immediately be distributed to participating Catholic schools and parishes. Additional proceeds will go to the St. John Neumann Catholic Education Endowment. The Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan administers the endowment which funds programs and initiatives throughout the diocese that support the evangelizing mission of the Church. This year the foundation awarded more than $36,000 in grants.
In addition to the funds raised to support evangelization projects, the BIG Raffle offers an annual opportunity to win major prizes. The following is a list of the Big Raffle’s top prizes along with the 2014 winners:
