Bishop Cistone Celebrates Hispanic Mass and Mass for Mercy This Weekend

SAGINAW — The Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, will celebrate a Mass for Mercy and Misa Hispana (Hispanic Mass) this weekend. Details are listed below. Photos of these two Masses will be posted later on our website and our Facebook page. All are welcome to these Masses.

WHAT: Misa Hispana (Hispanic Mass) with Bishop Cistone
WHEN: 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10
WHERE: St. Joseph Church, 910 N. 6th Ave., Saginaw
The Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, will celebrate the fourth annual Misa Hispana (Hispanic Mass). Father José Maria Cabrera, vicar for Hispanic ministry, will concelebrate Mass along with other area priests. All are invited to attend this celebration of the Eucharist that will honor the rich traditions of the Hispanic Community. The Mass will be in Spanish with the homily in English, and will be followed by a reception including a meal in the parish hall. All are invited.

WHEN: 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11
WHERE: St. Brigid of Kildare Church, 207 Ashman St., Midland
Bishop Cistone will celebrate Mass on the 15th anniversary of 9/11 as the faithful remember those who died from acts of violence and terror. The faithful are encouraged to seek God's mercy and pray for peace and justice throughout the world during this Jubilee Year of Mercy
