WHAT:     Mass upon the Election of a New Pope
WHERE:   Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw
WHEN:     Noon on Saturday, March 16

SAGINAW — On Saturday, March 16, the Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, will celebrate “Mass upon the Election of a New Pope.” The Mass will be celebrated at noon inside the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw.

Faithful from across the diocese are invited and encouraged to attend this Mass and offer prayers for Pope Francis as he humbly requested while delivering his first blessing in St. Peter’s Square. 

 “On behalf of all of the faithful of the Diocese of Saginaw, we pledge our prayerful and joyful support for our new Holy Father,” Bishop Cistone said. “We look forward with great enthusiasm to the days ahead as he leads us to a deeper love for God and one another.”
