WHAT: Stephen Blaxton and Adam Maher will be Ordained Transitional Deacons

WHEN: 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19 

WHERE: Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw

SAGINAW- This week, the Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, announced that he will ordain Stephen Blaxton and Adam Maher, seminarians for the Diocese of Saginaw, to the transitional diaconate in May.

“Please join me in congratulating Steve and Adam and praying for them as they continue to discern the call to priesthood,” said Bishop Cistone.

In the Catholic Church, the transitional diaconate precedes ordination to the priesthood. The ordination Mass will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw. All are welcome and invited to attend the Mass.
