26120072694 ff243af573 zSAGINAW- Hundreds of guests attended the 10th annual Bishop’s Ball on April 29 at Horizon’s Conference Center in Saginaw. The evening was a joyous occasion where the local faith community celebrated all that is done to continue the evangelizing mission of Jesus Christ.

The evening included a silent auction and, this year, Bishop Cistone's guitar was one of items guests could bid on. The guitar raised $6,000. The funds will benefit a donor advised fund, administered by the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan, in honor of the bishop's parents, the late Daniel and Josephine Cistone. The fund supports charitable causes across the Diocese of Saginaw.

During the ball, Bishop Cistone presented the Bishop Murphy Award to Olympia DeAgostino, a parishioner at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw and Marie Wrocklage, a parishioner at St. Michael Parish in Maple Grove.
