‘Café on Catholicism for Women’ this Saturday

WHEN:   8:00 a.m. – Noon on Saturday, February 18 
WHERE: St. Agnes Catholic Church, 2500 West River Rd., Sanford

SANFORD — Calling all women and teenage girls. This weekend’s Café on Catholicism for Women is an opportunity for mothers, daughters, neighbors and friends to come together for a morning of faith formation and spiritual renewal. There is no cost to attend.

The café is sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw Women’s Commission, Endow and St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sanford. The morning begins with registration and a continental breakfast followed by two featured speakers. Those in attendance may then chose to participate in one of several discussions including Care-giving for elderly parents, those with special needs and young families; “Finding God in the Dark Places;” and “Discerning God’s Will for My Life.” There also is a special breakout session for teens, focusing on faith and the issues they face.

Father Daniel Fox, OFMCap, will celebrate Mass at 11:15 a.m.
