WHAT: Catholic Men’s Conference

WHEN: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015 

WHERE: Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 North River Rd., Saginaw

SAGINAW — The Catholic Men’s Conference’s theme this year is “Called to be Strong”. The conference will take place on March 7, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Saginaw. The conference will include Mass with the Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw. Opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be available. This year’s conference theme is “Called to be Strong.” The speaker line-up includes Dr. John Gresham, professor of systematic theology at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, Mo. and Vernon Robertson, Catholic convert and international speaker. Both men have been guests on EWTN.

In a letter to conference attendees, Bishop Cistone wrote: “This year, Catholic dioceses throughout the state of Michigan are celebrating Christian Marriage…With this in mind, I ask that each of you consider doing something special this year in order to honor and support the Sacrament of Marriage and strengthen your own marriage.” Bishop Cistone went on to say, “Each of you must endeavor to ensure that Christ has a special place in your own heart and in the daily life of your family.”

The conference fee is $25 and includes lunch. Conference attendees may register and pay in advance online at www.thecatholicmen.com or on the day of the event.
