Practical ways in which we serve as channels of God’s mercy is through the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. One way to reach out to our brothers and sisters in need is by supporting the efforts of Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties as they respond to the Flint water crisis.

Monetary donations may be mailed to Catholic Charities at 901 Chippewa St., Flint, MI 48503. Please include “water relief” on the memo line of your donation. All gifts are tax deductible. Other donations being accepted include cases or gallons of water, water filter kits and replacement filters. For more information, click here or contact Catholic Charities at 810-232-9950.
