SAGINAW- The Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, celebrated the Hispanic Mass (in Spanish) on Saturday, Sept. 28.  The Mass included Hispanic liturgical music and a presentation of flowers before an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. In his homily, which included reflections on the story of Lazarus and the rich man, Bishop Cistone encouraged those in attendance to ask the Lord Jesus for his assistance.  “We can do more for our Lord and our brothers and sisters, ” said Bishop Cistone.  “With God’s grace, he can take our smallest efforts and make something great of them.”
