Hoops for the Homeless raises nearly $10,000 for Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan

Hoops for Homeless 2015On Friday, April 10 Bishop Cistone helped kick off Hoops for the Homeless at Delta College.

The basketball game is a fun-filled competition between students, faculty, parents and alumni from Nouvel Catholic Central High School in Saginaw and All Saints Central Middle & High School in Bay City that generates funds to benefit the Rescue Ministries of Mid-Michigan.

This past Friday’s game brought in approximately $9,600 and nearly $65,000 has now been raised since the friendly competition began in 2009.

Students at both high schools held various fundraisers leading up to the big game which was a huge success again this year. To view event photos, click here.
