WHAT: Holy Hour with Bishop Cistone in Edenville
WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 10 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Our Lady of Grace Parish, St. Anne Church, 5738 S. M30, Edenville
Since January 2012, the Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, has traveled to different churches throughout the diocese to lead Holy Hours before the Blessed Sacrament. The faithful are invited to join him in praying for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we strive to do God’s will in our local Church.

WHAT: The Great Basilicas of Rome with Father José Maria Cabrera
WHEN: Monday, Aug. 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: Center for Ministry, 5802 Weiss St., Saginaw
Join Father José Maria Cabrera for an engaging exploration of St. Peter's Basilica, the Basilica of St. Paul outside the Walls, and other great basilicas of Rome. This will be a multi-media presentation with videos, blueprints, and photographs of the most sacred shrines of the eternal city. Father José Maria currently serves as pastor of All Saints Parish, Bay City. Cost is $10. Deadline to register is Aug. 17. WHAT: Marriage Preparation Workshop
WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Diocesan Center For Ministry, 5802 Weiss St., Saginaw
A Marriage Preparation Workshop offered by the Diocese of Saginaw is coming up soon! Among the topics discussed are: communication and conflict resolution, forgiveness, money matters, sex and sexuality, natural family planning and the Sacrament of Marriage. All presentations are led by married couples, professionals or other trained individuals. WHAT: Bishop’s Charity Golf Classic and Dinner for Seminarian Education
WHEN: Wednesday, Sept. 13, Golf Classic with Morning and Afternoon Tee Times
WHERE: Golf Classic Takes Place at Swan Valley Golf Course, 9521 Highland Green Dr., Saginaw
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 14, Dinner and Silent Auction
WHERE: Dinner Banquet and Silent Auction Take Place in Curtiss Hall at Saginaw Valley State University, 7400 Bay Rd., University Center
All are invited to join Bishop Cistone for these two fun fall events that celebrate vocations to the priesthood and raise funds for the education of future priests. Golfers tee off on Sept. 13 with morning or afternoon golf scrambles at the Swan Valley Golf Course in Saginaw. In addition to game prizes, golf tournament awards will be given to flight winners, the top Knights of Columbus team and the top co-ed team. Celebration of priestly vocations continues on the evening of Sept.14 with the Dinner Banquet & Silent Auction in Curtiss Hall on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. WHAT: To Welcome And To Witness: A Vision and Strategies for Catholic Marriage
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This seminar is designed for pastors, pastoral leaders and any involved in marriage preparation. Dr. James Healy, the director of the Center for Family Ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Joliet, will discuss foundational issues regarding marriage preparation.
