Saginaw, Mich.,- Still Point Theatre Collective will present a special performance of Haunted By God: The Life of Dorothy Day.  Haunted By God: The Life of Dorothy Day is a moving dramatic portrait of one of the most outspoken and influential American Catholics of the 20th century, artfully performed by Lisa Wagner-Carollo, Founding/Artistic Director of Still Point Theatre Collective.  The production follows Day from her days as a 17 year-old Greenwich Village bohemian, through her middle years as a social activist and journalist, and into her later years as an elderly, wise leader.

Dorothy Day’s case for sainthood is currently under investigation...

She was mentioned by Pope Benedict XVI on Feb.13 during his public audience as an example of deep conversion of faith.

Still Point Theatre Collective is a community of Chicago artists who use theater to educate, inspire, and challenge communities to action.  A collection will be taken after the performance with all proceeds benefiting the production of a new play about a church community whose church was destroyed by hurricane Katrina.

There is no charge for tickets; donations will be collected after the show. For more information contact Our Lady of Perpetual Hope Church at (989) 845-6894.
