Growing in love halfway across the world
Seminarian reflects on summer missionary experience. was staying at a Jesuit community house in Kathmandu, Nepal, during my summer break from seminary. Each day, I bicycled through the city streets and alleyways to volunteer at Shanti Bhawan, a home run by the Missionaries of Charity sisters for elderly women who were previously homeless, abandoned or neglected.

These young pilgrims had the opportunity to encounter Jesus in profound ways and to embrace their Catholic identity anew through World Youth Day and the National Catholic Youth Conference in 2023 and SEEK in January. At each, they were able to witness the universality of the Church with thousands of young, passionate Catholics— just like them.

Seminarian Charles Warner Receives Ministry of Acolyte
On 3, March 2024, His Excellency, The Most Rev. Joseph Augustine Di Noia, Archbishop, Adjunct Secretary of the Congregation for Doctrine of the Faith conferred the Ministry of Acolyte in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at the Pontifical North American College, Vatican City State, on Charles Warner and 24 other Seminarians.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, more than 500 faithful from parishes throughout the diocese gathered at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw for the Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversion. This is the final period of spiritual formation before catechumens and candidates receive the Easter sacraments.
