President for Catholic Schools, Regional Systems Needed

The Catholic Diocese of Saginaw, Michigan, is seeking a President to lead its two regional systems, Bay Area Catholic Schools (BACS) and Saginaw Area Catholic Schools (SACS) for the up-coming 2013-14 school year. This challenging and rewarding position will provide dynamic leadership for two successful Catholic school systems that supports approximately 1200 faith-filled students.

The new President will be committed to the vision of promoting the evangelistic and educational mission of the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Saginaw. The primary responsibility of the President position is to develop and implement a strategic plan for BACS and SACS in consultation with the respective School Boards, pastors and principals, and the Office of Education for the Diocese of Saginaw. The mission of this plan is to develop and implement the appropriate organizational structure, and to provide financial stability to ensure long-term viability of Catholic school education in Bay and Saginaw counties. The President will report to the Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Saginaw, and the BACS and SACS School Boards.

The highly qualified candidate is a practicing Catholic who is active in parish life and is passionate about Catholic schools. They will be able to demonstrate a proven track record as a leader, especially in the areas of financial planning and development. Preference will be given to a candidate who has experience in marketing, public relations, and growing enrollment. To be considered for the President position the applicant will possess a valid teaching certificate for the State of Michigan, a minimum of a M.A. or equivalent from an accredited university in the areas of finance, business, educational leadership, or organizational development; have a minimum of five years experience in one or more of these areas; is skilled at strategic planning; has experience managing grants; has experience with human resources protocols; has a working understanding of data-driven educational best practices; above all communicates effectively.

Theology Teacher Needed

 Nouvel Catholic Central High School, located in Saginaw, Michigan, is seeking a Theology Teacher for the 2013-2014 school year. Associate for Liturgical Music Needed
