Parish Business Administrator
Blessed Sacrament Parish - Midland

Summary
Blessed Sacrament Parish has an opening for a Parish Business Administrator. This full time position will be responsible for the coordination and management of the human, financial, and physical resources of the parish. The Business Administrator is responsible for general accounting activities, billing and accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, facility & asset management and planning, as well as month-end reporting. This position also requires expertise in marketing and communication. The Business Administrator reports to the Pastor. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in business administration (MBA preferred), accounting, finance or a related field. Minimum of five years successful parish experience coordinating a total parish administration, demonstrated competence and experience in all areas or similar experience.
• An understanding of Catholic theology and parish operations.
• Strong expertise with Shelby systems and Excel.
• Experience with payroll services and online banking.
• Keen analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to pay attention to detail, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines.

Summary
The Catholic Cemeteries, Diocese of Saginaw has an immediate opening for a part-time (18 hours per week) Family Service/Sales Counselor. This position will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin, Michigan. The Sales Counselor will meet with families in the office and at home environments to explain pre-need and at-need goods and services offered by the Diocesan cemeteries, and utilize sales abilities to close sales.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic in good standing within his/her Parish, and have a basic understanding of Catholic Funeral/Liturgical rites and customs. Candidate must have the ability to communicate empathy within a grief/bereavement environment. Prior sales experience preferable. Cemetery experience desired but not required. Successful candidate should be a self-starter, detail oriented and possess basic computer literacy skills.
