The Catholic Diocese of Saginaw is sponsoring a special concert for hunger relief with the Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, March 29 at the Temple Theatre in Saginaw. The event will benefit local food pantries in Saginaw and Bay counties, as well as the people of Darfur. Non-perishable food items maybe dropped off beginning March 3 at the following locations: the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw Diocesan Center, 5800 Weiss St., Saginaw; SS. Peter & Paul Parish, 4735 Michigan Ave., Saginaw; and St. Maria Goretti Parish, 2872 N. Euclid, Ave., Bay City; The Rehmann Group, 5800 Gratiot Rd., Saginaw; WHNN (96.1 FM) radio studio,1740 Champagne Drive North, Saginaw; and the East Side Soup Kitchen, 940 East Genesee Ave., Saginaw.
