As future educators plan for their spring semester, the Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Saginaw extends an invitation to consider learning and teaching opportunities with one of our 13 schools to gain real world experience within a classroom setting. Our schools have consistently provided in-person learning throughout the first semester (outside of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services orders restricting in-person instruction)
Opportunities for classroom observation, student teaching, with mentorship by experienced educators, substitute teaching and lead teaching may be available in our schools as long as in-person learning is permitted during the spring semester by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Some opportunities may also be available during remote-instruction.
Classroom teaching and serving as a substitute will be compensated based on position, responsibilities, location, and experience. Applicants will be required to complete a background check and may be required to complete Virtus training. A complete listing of all of our schools can be found at: https://saginaw.org/schools-list. A map including the location of our schools can be found at: https://saginaw.org/our-schools (scroll to bottom of page).
