I was deeply saddened to learn of the senseless and deadly shooting which took place at Central Michigan University today. I ask all people of good faith to join me in prayers for those who were killed, whom we commend to our Merciful Lord. Let us also pray for the safety of those who protect our community, those who will aid in the healing process and especially the CMU community.
