NOMINATE A TEACHER NOW - UNTIL MAY 20

This spring, the Diocese of Saginaw will celebrate the positive impact Catholic School teachers make in the lives of students, schools, and communities through the  Excellence in Teaching Award.

“Our teachers are a true blessing to our students and school communities,” said Cormac Lynn, Superintendent of Catholic Schools. “They share their talents, passion, faith, and so much more everyday in the classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and beyond. This award allows us to demonstrate our admiration and appreciation of our teachers and all that they do in service of Catholic education.”

The award will be presented to a current full-time teacher who consistently displays one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Modeling and promoting the Catholic faith and values through their teaching
  • Making learning relevant in the lives of their students
  • Creating an environment where all students can achieve success
  • Contributing to the school community outside of their classroom
