Holy Hours for Vocations with Bishop Gruss
Bishop Robert Gruss is encouraging the faithful to join him in a Holy Hour for vocations. He’ll be in two parishes across the diocese each month.
Bishop Gruss will be bringing with him a relic of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, for veneration (learn more about what veneration means here: https://saginaw.org/veneration).

Circle of Grace Child/Youth Safe Environment Training
Parish Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Leaders are encouraged to attend a training session on the “Circle of Grace” child and youth safe environment training if you have not already done so. Any parish staff, catechists or youth volunteers are also welcome to attend. Utilizing this curriculum in parishes and Catholic schools was optional in the 2023-2024 pro gram year but is mandatory for the 2024-2025 program year. Program administrators who have not yet received a binder (one per parish and/or school), will be able to get theirs at the session.

First Friday with Bishop Gruss
Come celebrate the monthly gathering, known as First Friday with Bishop Robert Gruss. Mass begins at 11:00 a.m. and takes place at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Ave., Saginaw. ALL ARE WELCOME to attend Mass without registering. Following Mass, you are invited to join Bishop Gruss for a meatless lunch at noon and an informal presentation. Due to limited seating of 150 in the Lower Level of the Cathedral, please register if you plan to attend the presentation and lunch.

Lay Ecclesial Ministry Commitment Ceremony
All are invited to join the 2nd Year Lay Ecclesial Ministry Candidates as they affirm and celebrate their call to ministry in the name of Jesus Christ. These Candidates have completed at least two years of the four-year Lay Ecclesial Ministry formation process and are publicly and formally stating their commitment to a more deliberate way of answering their baptismal call to follow Jesus.
