USCCB President Says The Gospel Serves The Common Good, Not Political Agendas

With the presidential election just weeks away, Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, has released the following video statement. The video is a follow-up to his written statement of last week which invites Catholics to take time prior to the elections to deeply reflect on the founding principles of our republic and the gospel truths. The video also directly addresses public officials in calling them to respect the rights of people to live their faith without interference from the state.
